Pedrollo 5.5 HP Submersible Pump 6SR 12/8 Specifications
This pump is designed for consistent operation in demanding conditions. It features a powerful 4 kW (5.5 HP) motor, capable of generating a head of 111 meters and a maximum flow rate of 330 liters per minute. The pump operates in a vertical position and is suitable for continuous duty (S1). This Pedrollo submersible pump has the advantage of being compatible with well diameters of 6 inches (153 mm) and can operate at depths up to 200 meters with 6PD motors or 150 meters with 6PSR motors. The impellers are made from Noryl™ and coated with a special elastomer resistant to sand, ensuring durability in sandy environments. Diffusers are also made from Noryl™, contributing to the pump’s robustness. The pump shaft is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance. It can handle a maximum sand content of 100 g/m³ and is designed to operate with liquids up to +35 °C.
The Pedrollo pump 6SR series here starts up to 20 times per hour at regular intervals, with a minimum cooling flow of 8 cm/s to prevent overheating. Dimensions vary slightly depending on the model, with weights of 55 kg for the PD model and 71.6 kg for the PSR model. The pump can be powered by two motor types: 6PD, which is rewindable and oil-filled, and 6PSR, which is rewindable and water-filled, offering flexibility for different operational needs.
